Indianapolis @ St. Louis - WINNER: INDIANAPOLIS. This is not a good match up for a struggling Rams team and Peyton Manning will make it look easy like he always does.
Minnesota @ Pittsburgh - WINNER: MINNESOTA. What a great match up. Two of the best teams in football going at it. I think after that last second win last week the Vikings are going to be sky high with confidence and the go into Heinz field and steal one.
New England @ Tampa Bay - WINNER: NEW ENGLAND. Could be another throwing clinic from Tom Brady. This one wont even be close.
San Francisco @ Houston - WINNER: HOUSTON. They just had a big win over Cincinnati last week and have the confidence to win this game.
Green Bay @ Cleveland - WINNER: GREEN BAY. Yeah this isnt actually a game.
San Diego @ Kansas City - WINNER: SAN DIEGO. After a divisional loss to Denver look for this team to bounce back in brilliant fashion.
New York Jets @ Oakland - WINNER: NEW YORK. They wont lose another game in a row. And Jamarcus Russell is still the worst QB in the NFL.
Buffalo @ Carolina - WINNER: CAROLINA. This is a terrible who cares game. Toss up, I'll go with Carolina.
Atlanta @ Dallas - WINNER: ATLANTA. Sorry Big D, its just not your time anymore, its Matt Ryan's.
Chicago @ Cincinnati - WINNER: CINCINNATI. Bad loss last week to Houston but watch out for Cedric Benson to have a big game against his old team.
New Orleans @ Miami - WINNER: NEW ORLEANS. Two words, Drew Brees.
Arizona @ New York Giants - WINNER: NEW YORK. They are simply going to out play Arizona in every aspect of the game.
Phladelphia @ Washington - WINNER: PHILLY. They have to show everyone the real them after that travesty of a football game last week.
Week Record: 9-4

SPORTS: NFL Rankings Through Week 6
1) New Orleans Saints - No more questioning their ability to win big games. That domination of the New York Giants takes care of that question. They were so good that they actually made the Giants look like a mediocre team, which we all know is not the case. This is a legitamite Super Bowl team and I've been saying that from day one so no this is not band wagon. The defense looks a whole lot better than people thought they would be and both Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas can play running back and are pretty decent.
2) Indianapolis Colts - If not for the smack down N.O. laid on Eli and company brother Peyton would hold the top spot. Year in and year out no one is or ever has been more consistent or better than Peyton Manning. Its a different look this year with the same outcome. No longer is there Manning to Harrison. That has been replaced with Manning to Collie or Manning to Garcon, but for Colts fans its all the same. Indianapolis, I'll see you in February.
3) Minnesota Vikings - This is the reemergence of Brett Favre. With the Jets he looked more like a David Carr than Favre but now he's back. With the help of a great defense and the best running back in the league the Vikings are once again a tier on team. The have what it takes to not only make it to the big game but walk away with the Lombardi trophy. This is their time and the only piece that was missing was a legitimate receiver threat and they've found three choices. Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian have all been coming up huge and they will continue to all the way to the championship.
4) Denver Broncos - Kyle Orton, welcome to prosperity. From the depths of failure to the top tier of NFL QB's Orton has risen from obscurity to stardom. Behind Orton and a vicious defense the Broncos have started 6-0. Elvis Dumervil leads the sideline to sideline defense that never seems to run out of energy and forces more mistakes than it makes. Look for them to stick around to the end.
5) New York Giants - The other Manning is quickly becoming just as good as his brother. With Steve Smith, and not the one that usually comes to mind, making plays on the outside and Brandon Jacobs running people over on the inside this offense is extremely dangerous. And their defense is just as good.
6) Atlanta Falcons - Welcome back to NFL prosperity. Behind Matt Ryan, Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner this team has started their season 4-1. The offense can definitely hold their own, go ahead and ask San Francisco. The defense is play above expectations and this young team, if they play beyond their years, could make it deep into the playoffs.
7) New England Patriots - Well one thing we learned from that Tennessee game is that when all of the pieces of the puzzle are healthy this team is the real deal. They can still throw up a ton of points and yes Tom Brady is still Tom Brady. IF they start playing like that every game watch out.
8) Cincinnati Bengals - Well the Cardiac Cats are definitely fun to watch this season but that let down against the Houston Texans definitely brought back some terrible memories. A bounce back against a tough Chicago Bears team would solidify them as a top ten team.
9) Pittsburgh Steelers - The Defending champs seem to be coming off their hangover but as it stands they did get beat be the Bengals so their ranked lower. That being said Big Ben is starting to play better and the discovery of Rashard Mendenhall has been huge. With Polamalu back in the secondary they are once again a dangerous defense.
10) Chicago Bears - I hesitate to put them this high even though their record is above .500. The team just doesnt impress me in their games. Big game this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals and a win would make this ranking look a lot better.
11) Baltimore Ravens - They in all honesty should be 4-2 but thats neither here nor there. The defense has to stop making stupid mistakes, including penalties. It cost you the Cincy game and has played a role in several other games. The offense looks better with Joe Flacco and Ray Rice. Definitely not a team to look past.
12) Green Bay Packers - Again this spot is a toss up but i'll give them the nod. Rogers always makes them a threat but the defense and the run game have to get better to make this team a real contender.
13) Philadelphia Eagles - I am being generous. That game against Oakland was awful. On paper this team is better than 3-2 but as of right now thats where they stand. Get it together....
14) Arizona Cardinals - Where has this offense been all year. Dont get me wrong their putting some points on the board but nothing like what we saw last year. Maybe its another strike of the Superbowl hangover. The #1 rushing defense is definitely a plus though.
15) San Diego Chargers - They just lost a tough game to a really good Denver team but a loss is a loss and a 2-3 record is an ugly thing. Rivers is still Rivers but Tomlinson just doesnt look right. Playing days numbered???
16) San Francisco 49ers - They havent been ranked up here in awhile. Need to get some kind of passing game going though. Michael Crabtree this is your time..... dont screw up.
17) Houston Texans - Big win in Cincinnati last week. The offense can definitely put up some numbers, if you watched the game you know, but the defense is lacking and this team is way to hot and cold. Gotta be consistent.
18) Dallas Cowboys - They're unimpressive and thats saying it lightly. Roy Williams is a huge bust of a trade and you can thank Detroit for ruining him. Besides some guy named Miles Austin this team wouldnt have a legitimate receiver threat. I say this to the entire organization, you might have the biggest stadium TV in the league, but if you hit it with punts more than the other team your not doing your job.
19) Miami Dolphins - Not gonna lie Chad Henne is a lot better than anyone expected him to be. We knew Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown would get their yards but Henne throwing the ball like a young Marino? Yeah its a pretty thing. They could definitely win more then half their games.
20) New York Jets - Falling apart. The rookie is finally coming out in Mark Sanchez and minus the run game they havent been able to do anything on offense. The defense is decent but has to many off days. Mediocre team at best.
21) Jacksonville Jaguars - Well the defense is terrible, the passing game is decent and the running game is good. Jones Drew is the savior of this team. Shut him down, shut them down.
22) Seattle Seahawks - Yeah i know what your thinking this is a little high for this team isnt it? Not at all. The offense has the potential to put up some big numbers but the defense has to get it together and the whole team needs to be more consistent.
23) Carolina Panthers - Well Jake Delhomme is obviously not the answer at quarterback. only 4 touchdowns. wow. this team is going to continue to lose games til they get Delhomme figured out. There lucky they have a good set of running backs.
24) Oakland Raiders - What can you honestly say about the Raiders? They suck but they pull out a win against the Eagles? I have no words. Never know what to think about them. Jamarcus Russell is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL. And someone please remind Richard Seymour where he's playing.
25) Detroit Lions - This team is a few pieces away from being a decent football team. They really need to find some kind of defense though. Stafford is going to be good.
26) Buffalo Bills - They are a mess. Back to back weeks without a touchdown. Yeah they are really bad.
27) Kansas City - They are definitely starting to play better football so dont look past them in the second half of the season.
28) Washington Redskins - How does either Jim Zorn or Jason Campbell still have a job?
29) Cleveland Browns - Not many teams have two useless starting quarterbacks on the same team.
30) Tennessee Titans - Wow, no one saw this coming. Well i mean at least they put up a fight against the Patriots..... wait.......
31) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Second last, well you could be worse.
32) St. Louis Rams - Wow they have definitely fallen off fast. Remember when they were the greatest show on turf? Whew this is bad.
SPORTS: Week 6 Winners
Another good week of picks are in the books and I'm sitting 30 games over .500. Find me an analyst on any NFL network with a record like that... good luck. Anyway, got some good games this week and well a couple complete shitters. So here goes....
Houston @ Cincinnati - WINNER: CINCINNATI. I just want to say that if this game gets blacked out like they're saying it might the city of Cincinnati should be ashamed of itself. Everyone says they want a winning team every year and now you have one and you wont go to home games, are you kidding me? They stay true to form this week against a sub par Houston team. Look for Cedric Benson to come up big.
Detroit @ Green Bay - WINNER: GREEN BAY. I really hope Detroit wins this game but I just think the wide receivers of the Packers are going to have a field day against the Lions secondary. I cant see them pulling this one out. Great game against Pittsburgh last week though.
Baltimore @ Minnesota - WINNER: MINNESOTA. Huge game this week. Two great teams take the field and its going to come down to the wire. My game changers are the players on the defensive line for the Vikings. Jared Allen, Pat Williams and Kevin Williams will control the running game and keep pressure on the young QB forcing him to make mistakes. Minnesota takes this game.
New York Giants @ New Orleans - WINNER: NEW YORK. Best team in football goes up against the best QB in football. Tough choice. New Orleans puts up so many points and plays good defense against the pass but I dont think they really know how win a game of this importance. This is for first place in the NFL, not just a division. These are the two best teams in the NFl, bragging rights on the line. New York takes this game behind Manning and Jacobs.
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - WINNER: PITTSBURGH. Are you kidding me?
Carolina @ Tampa Bay - WINNER: CAROLINA. Another ugly game. Steve Smith, that's the deciding factor.
Kansas City @ Washington - WINNER: KANSAS CITY. Not exactly an ugly game but definitely not one I would waste my time on. A good showing against Dallas last week gives KC the nod.
St. Louis @ Jacksonville - WINNER: JACKSONVILLE. They are starting to look like the Jacksonville that took the field the last couple of years. They take this game thanks to Jones-Drew.
Arizona @ Seattle - WINNER: SEATTLE. Another partial ugly game but both teams can throw the ball so this should be a game decided in the 30's or 40's. Its a toss up so I'll just go with Seattle.
Philadelphia @ Oakland - WINNER: PHILADELPHIA. Jamarcus Russell is terrible. Donovan McNabb is not. The Eagles win.
Tennessee @ New England - WINNER: NEW ENGLAND. The Titans cant win with Kerry Collins and they definitely wont if they go with Vince Young aka the first Jamarcus Russell.
Buffalo @ New York Jets - WINNER: NEW YORK. Sanchez and the Jets bounce back from back to back losses in good form by dominating the Bills.
Chicago @ Atlanta - WINNER: ATLANTA. Huge game against the tough 49ers defense last week makes this offense legit. I expect the same in this game at home against the Bears.
Denver @ San Diego - WINNER: DENVER. This is not the same Kyle Orton that was in Chicago and they can run the ball. Oh and have you seen there defense? Yeah they are a LEGIT undefeated team. San Diego is good but Denver is just on another level right now.
Week Record: 9-5
Season Record: 62-28
Houston @ Cincinnati - WINNER: CINCINNATI. I just want to say that if this game gets blacked out like they're saying it might the city of Cincinnati should be ashamed of itself. SPORTS: Week 5 Winners
So back to back 11 win weeks, looks like I'm starting to hit my midseason stride. And again I remind all of you that I have a better record than all of the "experts". So here are my picks for this week in the NFL.
Cincinnati @ Baltimore - WINNER: CINCINNATI. Cincinnati loves you Mike Zimmer. You have the full support of all of us fans. You'll get through this. Shitty news in Cincinnati this morning when Defensive Coordinator Zimmer came home to find his wife had passed away. This game is for the man that made the defense a defense. The man who made a young team come together and learn how to win as a team. This game is for him. WHO DEY
Cleveland @ Buffalo - WINNER: BUFFALO. I just cannot see Cleveland winning a game anytime soon. They played well against Cincinnati last week but they just dont know how to win games yet. They'll be there eventually just now yet.
Washington @ Carolina - WINNER: CAROLINA. Washington is awful, just terrible. Carolina is eventually going to get their offense together and there is no better time to do that than when your playing someone who isnt exactly playing good football on your home field.
Pittsburgh @ Detroit - WINNER: PITTSBURGH. Detroit is getting better, but there not that good yet. Big Ben and that offense go ahead and put up enough to win.
Dallas @ Kansas City - WINNER: DALLAS. I hate picking them but I just cant see Kansas City pulling the upset. Dallas takes this game.
Oakland @ New York Giants - WINNER: NEW YORK. Oakland will not have a winning season with Jamarcus Russell at QB. He is HORRIBLE. The worst starting quarterback in the NFL and yes that does include Byron Leftwich and Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn.
Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia - WINNER: PHILADELPHIA. McNabb is back in the line up and thats pretty much all you need. He makes them a different team. Gives them swagger. They'll win with him back.
Minnesota @ St. Louis - WINNER: MINNESOTA. The Rams are another team that should just hold open tryouts for both players on the field and in the front office. They suck in every aspect of the game. Maybe my Ohio Bobcats would be a better match up for the Vikings.
Atlanta @ San Francisco - WINNER: ATLANTA. San Francisco is good but Atlanta is better. Matt Ryan shows why he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL.
Houston @ Arizona - WINNER: ARIZONA. It hasnt been like last year and it might never be that good again but the offense needs to show some kind of life and maybe playing someone like Houston would help.
New England @ Denver - WINNER: DENVER. Im starting to believe in this team a little bit. If they win this game I might go ahead and label them as a real contender. That said I do thing Tom Brady is going to struggle against this defense.
Jacksonville @ Seattle - WINNER: JACKSONVILLE. They are starting to play good football both on offense and defense and they have found a solid receiveing threat in sims-walker. They'll take this game without much resistance.
Indianapolis @ Tennessee - WINNER: INDIANAPOLIS. They have a certain fellow in the backfield named Manning and Tennessee is awful. Game goes to Indianapolis. Tennessee might just reach 13 again.... losses this time tho.
New York Jets @ Miami - WINNER: NEW YORK. If Sanchez is the man he will have a good bounceback week and New York will take this game. Plus there is a new quarterback in Miami and New Yorks defense had been a juggernaut this season.
Week Record: 11-3
Season Record: 53-23
Cincinnati @ Baltimore - WINNER: CINCINNATI. Cincinnati loves you Mike Zimmer. You have the full support of all of us fans. You'll get through this. SPORTS: Week 4 Winners
I'd like to congratulate the Detroit Lions on their victory last week, well done. I will also take this moment to pat myself on the back for being 31-17, which is better than any of the "experts" from espn or cbs sports. So here are my week 4 picks.
Detroit @ Chicago - WINNER: CHICAGO. They are not the struggling Washington team the Lions faced last week and that defense should be just good enough to keep the Lions from scoring many points.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland - WINNER: CINCINNATI. This is a different team from the one we saw last year. They are fast and like to hit on defense and Carson Palmer is starting to look like the quarterback he was during the playoff run in 2005. Oh and the Browns are just awful.
Oakland @ Houston - WINNER: HOUSTON. Oakland is just not as good as I thought they were. Andre Johnson should have a big game and the Texans should take this one at home.
Seattle @ Indianapolis - WINNER: INDIANAPOLIS. They have some guy named Peyton Manning in the backfield and he just knows how to win ball games. He does the same thing this week
Tennessee @ Jacksonville - WINNER: TENNESSEE. I just cannot see Tennessee starting the season 0-4 and they pick up their first win of the season at Jacksonville. It won't be easy but I think they get the job done.
New York Giants @ Kansas City - WINNER: NEW YORK. Well they are playing against arguablly the worst team in football and the passing game in New York is a lot better than people give it credit.
Baltimore @ New England - WINNER: BALTIMORE. The defense is as good as they've ever been and now they have an offense that can put up points. This team could win the Super Bowl this year.
Tampa Bay @ Washington - WINNER: WASHINGTON. Both of these teams are a mess so its a toss up but I think the Redskins have a little more talent so I'll go with them.
Buffalo @ Miami - WINNER: BUFFALO. This is a terrible game. Thats all there is to it. Neither of these teams deserve a win but someone has to and with the quarterback situation the way it is in Miami I have to go with Buffalo.
New York Jets @ New Orleans - WINNER: NEW ORLEANS. They are the best team in the NFL in my mind. Drew Brees has the offense running like a well oiled machine and I dont see that ending anytime soon.
Dallas @ Denver - WINNER: DALLAS. I still think Denver is a pretender so I have to go with Dallas here.
St. Louis @ San Francisco - WINNER: SAN FRANCISCO. They are for real this year and, well, St. Louis isnt.
San Diego @ Pittsburgh - WINNER: PITTSBURGH. This might be the best game on tv this week. It'll be a battle but I just think Pittsburgh needs this game more and they will prove it with a win.
Green Bay @ Minnesota - WINNER: MINNESOTA. They have all the pieces in place to win this game and its time for Brett Favre to show Green Bay why he was and still is the man.
Week record: 11-3
Season Record: 42-20
Detroit @ Chicago - WINNER: CHICAGO. They are not the struggling Washington team the Lions faced last week and that defense should be just good enough to keep the Lions from scoring many points.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland - WINNER: CINCINNATI. This is a different team from the one we saw last year. They are fast and like to hit on defense and Carson Palmer is starting to look like the quarterback he was during the playoff run in 2005. Oh and the Browns are just awful.
